Writing for Children

When I first started writing for children, I spent hours and hours looking for helpful websites and books and advice to get me started. I'm hoping that by sharing some of what I've learned along the way, it will help others who are writing for kids too, whether they're just getting started or moving to a different genre or age group. I will say that I've learned that I need an idea to get me started, advice to keep me on track, and the patience to sit and work until a story or poem is truly finished.
